Great Bay NH SunsetLiving in the Great Bay region of New Hampshire provides an excellent location for my travels throughout New England. My photographs focus on landscapes, close-ups, and artistic impressions of scenes from those six states.

I often use artistic filters to give my photographs a “painterly” look or High Dynamic Range (HDR) techniques to bring out extra detail. These effects tend to give my images a unique style.

I’m currently working on the following series of works:

  • New England Scenes – landscapes and travel scenes from throughout the six-state region – seacoast, mountains, cities, and towns
  • Boats – photographs of boats and ships of all kinds – from rugged lobster boats to elegant sailboats
  • Architecture – images of our built environment – New England towns offer a wide range of subject matter from traditional churches to classic brick downtowns to contemporary museums
  • Nature – landscapes, seascapes, and closeups that offer new insights in the realm of everyday plants and animals
  • Colorado – mountains, prairies, and city-scapes from the Rocky Mountain state
  • Florida – beaches, palm trees, and birds from the sunshine state
  • New York – countryside and urban scenes from the Empire state
  • Québec – from the urban chic of Québec City to the countryside of Quebec province
  • Stamp Treks – photographs inspired by our nation’s postage stamps – a unique pairing of a mint postage stamp with an image related to the subject of that stamp – from statehood to children’s book characters, these provide my interpretation of famous places, people, and events showcased on those stamps
