Emily Dickinson House

This image captures the home of Emily Dickinson located in Amherst, Massachusetts. Dickinson (1830-1886) spent most of her life in this stately home, now a museum dedicated to educating visitors about her life and works. Only a handful of Emily’s poems were published during her lifetime; it wasn’t until 1955 that many of her works were published in The Poems of Emily Dickinson.
