I took this image, enhanced with artistic filters, for a special celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Portsmouth Public Library. The vantage point is from halfway up the circular stairway leading up to the second floor. The America Bald Eagle sculpture surveys the space below from his perch hanging from the stairwell ceiling. This and works by many other area artists will be part of the “Views of PPL” in the Levenson Room at the Portsmouth Public Library November 1st to January 3rd. Come meet the artists at the reception Sunday November 6th 2-4 PM.
I have several new photographs on display at the Seacoast Artist Association gallery in Exeter, NH this month. I entered this scene of two horses grazing in the fields at the University of New Hampshire equestrian center for the monthly theme show. This is a great place to visit – you can check out the many horses stabled there in the barn and take in all the other atletic and cultural events on the campus.
