Double Rainbow

Double Rainbow

Some dramatic skies over our home in Dover, New Hampshire this past weekend, due to hot weather spawning some severe thunderstorms. I took this photo of a double rainbow, which is visible due to double reflection of light inside the raindrops. The secondary rainbow is fainter than the primary one and is usually positioned about 10 degrees above it; note the colors are in reverse order.
