Phillips Exeter Academy Chapel
Phillips Church serves the students of the preparatory boarding school Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire. The church was designed by architect Ralph Adams Cram, a champion of American Gothic Revival style, who also designed the Cathedral of St John the Divine in New York City as well as many of the original buildings on the academy campus.
Portland Head Lighthouse
This photograph captures the famous Portland Head Lighthouse located at the southern edge of the Portland Harbor entrance in Maine. Puffy cumulus clouds added to the vibrant summer scene I shot from the Casco Bay tour-boat I was on. I was able to catch some of the light coming from the tower as it rotated around. I also used artistic filters to enhance the image.
This photograph takes in the scenery from atop Loon Mountain in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The leaves show a splash of color with puffy cumulus clouds hovering above on this crisp autumn day. The summit view here overlooks Loon Pond. I used an artistic filter to give this photograph a painterly look.
Boston Waterfront Skyline
This view of the Boston skyline was taken while I was on a Boston Harbor boat cruise. The distinctive arch of Rowe’s Wharf is prominent from this vantage point. I used artistic filters to give the scene a painterly look.
Boston Harbor Schooner
This photograph of a schooner was taken while I was on a Boston Harbor Islands boat cruise. I captured this graceful boat as it passed by Fort Independence in Boston Harbor. The darkened sky made for a dramatic shot, which is accentuated by some artistic filters I applied to the image.
